The weather looks good
We are a GO for the 7/28 meet

Today we will run a 10-jump meet, but still attempt a 5-alive format:
--once bars are started, an athlete will continue with bars until finished (no mid-competition warm-up jumps)
--once an athlete clears a bar, they are done until the next "height/rotation," so others can jump
--once an athlete misses 3 in a row, they are done until the next "height/rotation"

Observations of the traditional-meet of last week:
1-the meet saw more PR's
2-the line was shorter and was thereby easier for athletes
3-no-heighting (having less than 6-jumps) created feelings of a lack of value

I think "Mister and Missus" high school totals should be added.
Many of the names will be new since officially ladies didn't get to jump in high school until 1998
--(when Ms Katie and Ms Liz spoke to the MSHSL and, along with the threat of a $900,000 lawsuit, got the event opened up to girls).  Hee hee.  Anyone care about the details of that story?

--Mr Chris and Ms Katie went pretty high
--My mom didn't start until college...(14 for dad + 0 for mom in high school wont top this list)

My future wife hasn't been born yet; but she will probably be a vaulter (and share her toys).

"S" "A" "T" and "F" are not the letters that follow "U"
According to that song, "V" "W" "X" and "Y" follow "U"
I suggest starting at the beginning.

adults...so confusing....
