The weeks offered for this camp will have to be changed just a bit...

Rather than week 1, (June 21 - 24), we will be offering week 4, (July 19 - 22).

Camps / Open pit vaulting in Bryon this Sunday 7/12

This Sunday, Byron will host an open vault for anyone who would like to attend.

It will be run the same as Monday Night Flights: http://www.flightdeckathletics.com/Forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=490

Pits will open at 7:00 p.m. with competition beginning at 8:00 p.m.

The pit is at the middle school (not high school) in Bryon. Go north at Kwik trip and turn left after the railroad tracks.

Be sure to check this site for weather cancellations before you leave.

Monday Night Flights 2009


We are ready to get these started once again! If you will be going, please check MNF's site (http://mondaynightflights.blogspot.com) for weather information. This will be posted by 3:00 pm on Monday.


Open pole vault competitions on Monday nights in June and July beginning after the state meet. All vaulters in SE MN are welcome to come and jump. This will also be a great chance to work on what you have learned at camp. We look forward to seeing many vaulters there. Read below for more information...


What: Open pole vault meets for area vaulters to practice and compete in a safe, relaxed atmosphere.

Who: Open to all vaulters in SE MN. Coaches are welcome to attend as well.

Where: Plainview HS pole vault pits. (NE of Rochester)

When: Monday evenings starting after the state track meet.

Dates:

June 8, 15, 22 and 29
July 6, 13, 20 and 27

Time: Pits will open at 4:00 pm for warm-up/practice. The competition will begin at 5:00 pm.

It may come soon...

Raphy Gelo (International Falls) was at FDA camp this past summer in Apple Valley. IIRC, he made 15' a couple times in the morning sessions and 15'3" (or 15'6"?) in the evening sessions with Jamie/Paul.

He could end up being the top guy in both classes.

My family is gone for a week and I am looking for something to do...

I'll be there ready to work! I'll bring a few tools to aid in the destruction.
