Flight Deck Athletics                     Club Membership

All invited collegiate and post-collegiate athletes are welcome to be a part of the team, regardless of age or ability.  Membership is considered October 1st through September 30th of each year.  Steve and Caroline will continue the role of team captains and primary coordinators of poles and practices.  Other members are asked to assume team roles of their own.


Pole Vault Gold Membership                                 $350 annually
Your responsibility
?   Register yourself with Flight Deck Every year
?   Register yourself with USATF every year.
?   Pay meet entry fees
?   Transportation of the poles you need, to and from meets
?   Coordinate pole needs with other members (share)
?   Fill out and submit the information sheet so we know who is competing for us
?   List ?Flight Deck Athletics? as your club/team when you enter competitions
?   Behave in a positive way?represent the club well?treat equipment with respect--hot-heads and spazs are not welcome
?   Pay for all broken / damaged equipment, after the first pole.
?   Coach other team members as much as you want to be coached?be helpful at all times
?   Take on a team-role or responsibility (web-page, video, pole maintenance, sales, rental, uniforms, special events, other)

What FDA does for you
?   Full access to an entire line of poles owned by FDA (June through February)
?   Covers the expense of one broken / damaged pole per year
?   Coaching and technical assistance with your vault at all practices and meets from other members
?   Gets you access to USATF-club-only meets
?   Priority for renting poles during HS season
?   Wholesale cost for buying personal line of poles.
?   Primary grip tape of all poles (top 1? of all poles)


Pole Vault Silver Membership                                 $250 annually
Same as Gold membership, except for the following
?   You principally use your own line of poles
?   Use FDA poles for pre-season practices and limited used at meets


Pole Vault Bronze Membership                                  $150 annually
Same as Gold membership, except for the following
?   Use FDA poles for practices and limited used at meets
?   Target members are the old guys who show up less than 10 times per year


Basic Membership--all events except vault                                $100 once
For Coaches, officials, and Non-Vaulting competitors
?   Jacket included
?   Buy what is broken
?   Never compete with FDA equipment


Pole Vault Starting Membership (prorated through September)                   $100 + $25/month   
For New members joining mid-year
