It's snowing!  A sure sign that track season is here, if ever there was one.

We have completed our first indoor season at the University of Minnesota.  It was a good first draft and we're excited to improve upon the original next year.  

BUT, we're always looking for ways to keep vaulters vaulting high, and the weather looks rough, so Flight Deck is going to offer 2 additional Sunday opportunities to vault indoors at UMN.  Open pit. Come one, come all.

The details:
1. Sunday March 17th and 24th, 1-3pm
2. Bring your OWN poles (ours are being rented out for the season)
3. Bring your coach if you can
4. Bring your USATF membership card
5  $40 cash or check (each practice)
6. We will provide one Flight Deck coach to oversee the practices (Michelle Legatt), but it won't be as formal as camp instruction depending on the number of athletes attending

Hopefully this will help bridge the gap to more pole vault friendly weather.  

Just what you were hoping for...now you can listen to the White's coaching in the comfort of your own home any time you want.  Seriously, we hope you all find it useful.   It did turn out well.  Thanks to Alicia Rue, Samantha Sonnenberg, and Steve White for helping me put this together.

Congratulations to former NDSU great Shawn Francis on returning to his alma mater to post a new personal best of 5.51m.  This is the highest clear in North Dakota history.

Now to take down the top spot in Minnesota history. 

We have a feeling it won't be long.

Way to go Shawn!
